Is the beach empty or crowded?

The beach is so crowded, you can hardly find a place to put your towel.
It's fairly crowded, but you can find your own private space.
You see a few people off in the distance.
You don't see anyone around at all.

How the water's temperature?

Cold, but you can brave it for a swim
Too cold to swim
Perfect swimming temperature

How are the waves?

There are a few waves
The ocean is completely calm
There are enough waves to surf
The waves are big enough to be dangerous

At the end of a day at the beach:

You feel energized
You feel tired
You feel sunburned
You feel hungry
